The Farmers Markets and Spring Farm & Garden Show provides an opportunity for area residents to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs directly from the farmers and gardeners who grow them as well as features baked goods and locally produced meats, eggs and wine. The Farm & Garden Show also showcases local businesses that wish to display their agricultural products.
The Waynesburg market is located in the heart of downtown Waynesburg and will operate every Wednesday from mid-May through mid/late-October from 9 am to 1 pm. A hot lunch will be available, so downtown employees can shop the market during their lunch hour. The Carmichaels market is located in the parking lot of Mystery Finds and will operate every first Thursday of the month from June through October. The Farm & Garden Show is an annual 2-day event held the first weekend in May at the Greene County Fairgrounds from 9 am to 4 pm and features a wide array of businesses to browse and shop.
The Greene County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to the Farmers Markets and the annual Farm & Garden Show to support local farmers and gardeners, socialize with friends and neighbors and take part in a lively downtown event!
