Rolling Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation is located in Waynesburg, Pa.   Rolling Meadows is a not-for-profit facility providing skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation, long term living, respite care and a dedicated secure Memory Care Neighborhood for individuals that require Alzheimer’s and Dementia care.    We bring together rehabilitation, nursing care and medical services for a wide range of the population in Waynesburg and the surrounding communities.  We accept Medicare, Medicaid, private pay and most insurances.

We offer a skilled level of care to individuals recovering from stroke, heart attack, or other illness, or injury.  Physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Therapists, and other Healthcare Professionals strive to provide progressive care and treatment.    Our rehabilitation services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Short-Term Rehabilitation.  Our short term rehabilitation is an alternative for individuals well enough to leave an acute care hospital, but not yet well enough to return home.  Our services can provide individuals the opportunity to regain an active, independent lifestyle prior to returning home.

Our Memory Care Unit, The Homestead at Rolling Meadows is a person centered, homelike environment designed to improve the overall quality of life for your loved one.  Our memory care trained caregivers will provide the highest quality of care safely and compassionately for every resident.  Our staff will strive to understand the meaning behind the behaviors- acknowledging the behaviors as a form of communication.  All family and friends are encouraged and welcomed to participate in the plan of care of their loved one.  We believe a unified approach will provide physical and emotional support for all involved.

Rolling Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation is excited to share that they have recently become the only facility in the area to offer the new iN2L technology it’s Never 2 Late interactive system.  The facility was awarded a grant from CMS in the spring for the mobile technology equipment.  This iN2L system is based on a picture and touch screen format, making it easier for senior adults to adapt and engage in thousands of computer- based experiences and enrichment activities.  By implementing this comprehensive program, the residents will have the opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy technology that is suited to their level of ability, which will enhance their quality of life.

Rolling Meadows staff received hands-on training of the system before the residents started interacting with the various components of iN2L.  Our therapy staff will be able to incorporate the interactive fall prevention and strengthening program videos, along with exercise and cognitive videos to enhance our therapy programs.  This advancement will help family members partner in the care of their loved ones by giving them the ability to customize specific applications within the system.

Rolling Meadows is honored to be a recipient of this grant and looks forward to incorporating this technology into the daily activities of our residents.
