Your local hospice in Greene and Fayette County has been part of your community for over 30 years! As with all community outreach programs that we do, we want the community to know who might qualify for our in-home services.

If your loved one has a life limiting diagnosis of Cancer, Advanced Alzheimer's Disease, COPD, CHF, Chronic Kidney Disease, Renal Failure and has declined to the point where they are depending more and more on others for their daily routines...or are they failing to thrive(losing weight/poor appetite) or debilitated? Are they in and out of the hospital or ER with no curative treatments ahead? Amedisys Hospice might be the answer!

Our goal is to assist our patients stay in their home environment, whether it is their home, a personal care home or a nursing home. We support them and their caregivers with visits from nurses, home aides, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and bereavement support afterwards. Our services are paid in full by all insurances including Medicare and Medicaid with no out of pocket for the patient. We are accessible 24/7 to assist all of our patients through any issues which also might prevent hospitalization.
